Day 8
Today I drove from Delta down to the Grand Canyon. This drive rivals and may even surpass the Black Hills drive. I've never seen anything so BIG. I took route 89A south. It paralleled the Vermillion Cliffs. They must be at least 1000 feet high (maybe even 2000 feet) and twenty miles or more in length. Vista after vista greeted me as I drove. truly unbelievable. I knew it would be big, but not like this. I will upload pictures and video to this post as soon as i am able. Tonight, I camp in the bed of the truck in my "hobo tent". I'll take a picture and post that as well.
