Day 13

Today I drive south to Los Angeles to pick up Jennifer. I am excited about that. I have missed her a lot, and it will be nice to have my best friend back. I just have to get packed and out the door by 10:00AM PST to make it. Shouldn't be too hard.

OK, it is now officially the next morning. I picked up Jennifer at LAX yesterday without too much difficulty.

And this is our hotel room. It is directly on the Venice beach walk. Jennifer did very well in finding it. Today, we walk down to muscle beach to watch the bodybuilders (my request. not hers), and I get to skateboard on the walk. This is where skateboarding was born, by the way. First impression of Venice beach: there are some freaky people here. that is actually the norm. I'll take pictures today.
Evidently, the freaky people don't come out at 7:00AM.
